Timber-frame
construction fulfilled the homeowners requirement for
large, open interior spaces. The rooms with soaring ceilings
were made homey and human with hand-hewn joinery work and
siding and flooring of recycled barn wood. The black painted
metal roofing material worked so well with the timber structure,
the owners used it as an interior accent as well. |
