A first-class hotel in the heart of Telluride, Camel’s Garden is a modern interpretation of the mammoth mining structures in the surrounding mountains, and the sleek architecture parallels the athleticism of the local population and visitors. A gable roof over the entire structure would have been too massive visually and created unmanageable snow slides, the builder explains.
