Zinc has been up on the roof for a hundred years as the protective coating on galvanized steel. It was only a matter of time, then, till zinc came into its own as metal roofing. It becomes malleable when heated, is easily formed and not subject to corrosion – a natural for roofing material.

Summit works with a zinc-copper-titanium alloy material that’s suitable for roofing and interior and exterior wall cladding. Durable and low maintenance, the material is available rolled, in shiny and pre-weathered blue-gray finishes. Left to age naturally, it will develop a patina that varies by climate. It can be installed as sheets or fabricated as shingles.
